1. How does the trade-in process work?
Start by using our Trade-In Calculator to get an average estimate for your device. Submit the Get A Quote Form, and we’ll send you a personalised offer within 24 hours. You can then choose free postal shipping or local collection.
2. Is the trade-in calculator accurate?
The calculator gives an average estimated value based on current market data. Your final quote may change after inspection if the device condition differs from what was submitted.
3. Do you cover shipping costs?
Yes. For postal trade-ins, we provide free pre-paid shipping so you can send your device at no cost.
4. Is local collection available?
Yes, if you’re within 20 miles of Guildford. There is a £30 non-refundable fee for this service, which includes instant cash or bank transfer after a quick on-site test.
5. How long does the inspection take?
Postal inspections are usually completed shortly after your device arrives. Collection inspections take around 10–20 minutes on the spot.
6. What if my device’s condition doesn’t match what I submitted?
If there’s any difference, we’ll contact you with a revised offer. You can choose to accept or decline. If you decline via post, we’ll return your device free of charge.
7. Do you buy broken devices?
Yes. We buy most broken devices, including those with cracked screens, weak batteries, or cosmetic damage. Devices with major issues like Face ID failure, motherboard faults, or iCloud-locked devices cannot be purchased.
8. What grading standards do you use when reselling?
We follow clear grading standards for A, B, and C, based on cosmetic condition, battery health, and overall functionality. All devices undergo a 25-point inspection and come with warranty depending on grade.
9. How will I get paid?
You can choose bank transfer or cash on collection. Postal trade-ins are paid after evaluation. Collection customers are paid instantly.
10. How long does the entire process take?
From submitting your form to receiving payment, the full process typically takes 2–4 days for postal trade-ins, and same-day for local collection.
11. Is the offer guaranteed?
Your final offer is guaranteed as long as the device condition matches the information submitted. If not, we’ll provide a revised quote before moving forward.
12. What happens if I change my mind?
For postal trade-ins, you can decline our final offer and we’ll return your device free of charge. For collection, the £30 fee is non-refundable even if you choose not to proceed.
