Yes — every device is fully unlocked to all networks before it leaves. Just pop your SIM in and go.
Your phone, a free tempered glass screen protector already applied, and your order confirmation as proof of warranty. Chargers aren't included — all phones use USB-C or Lightning depending on the model.
No — this is normal on refurbished iPhones and can appear even after a repair using genuine Apple parts on models older than iPhone 14. It's an Apple hardware restriction and does not affect performance, features, or your warranty in any way. Your device is fully tested and covered.

All functional faults — if the phone stops working as it should, Dan will repair or replace it. The warranty doesn't cover accidental or liquid damage. Grade A & B get 12 months, Grade C gets 6 months.
Klarna, Shop Pay and PayPal Credit are all available at checkout — spread the cost interest-free. Apple Pay and all major cards are also accepted.
Yes — and it's encouraged. Message on WhatsApp before buying and Dan will give you an honest answer about condition, battery health, parts used and anything else. It's actually him replying, not a bot.

3–5 working days door to door. Most repairs are completed within 1–2 working days of arriving. Dan messages you when it arrives and again with a tracking number when it's posted back. See the repairs page for the full process.
For most repairs, no — you pay once the quote is confirmed. For software and diagnostics, a £40 fee is paid upfront via payment link before posting. If the repair goes ahead, the £40 comes off the total. If it can't be fixed, the £40 stands but return postage is covered.
It depends on the model and parts used:
- iPhone 14+ with genuine Apple parts — calibrated after fitting. No warnings in Settings.
- iPhone X–13, any parts — will show 'Unknown Part' regardless. An Apple hardware restriction that can't be removed. Doesn't affect performance.
- iPhone 14+ with third-party parts — 'Unknown Part' will appear. Only genuine parts can remove this.
- All camera replacements — show 'Used' in Settings on all models. Software flag, no effect on function.
Dan is always upfront about this before anything is agreed.
Often yes. Dan regularly fixes phones other shops have handed back — including water damage, dead batteries and logic board issues. The £40 diagnostic fee applies first, coming off the total if it's fixable. Dan advises honestly before any work is done.
Yes — genuine Apple OEM parts are available for screen and battery repairs. On iPhone 14+, genuine parts are calibrated after fitting so no warnings appear in Settings and True Tone is preserved. Third-party parts are also available at a lower cost.

12 months on parts and labour for all repairs. If the same fault returns within that period and it's not accidental damage — Dan fixes it at no charge.
Always recommended. Dan takes every care, but backing up via iCloud or a computer protects you regardless. Remove your SIM before posting too — it's not needed for the repair.
Dan will let you know before doing any work. For diagnostics the £40 stands, but no further charge. Your device is returned to you tracked — at no cost to you.

Yes — any condition. Cracked screens, won't turn on, water damage, multiple faults. Dan reviews every broken device personally and typically pays more than automated buyers like CEX, Music Magpie and Mazuma — especially for damaged devices that automated systems reject outright.

When you put your trade-in value toward one of our refurbished phones, you typically get 25–35% more than a straight cash sale. Because we refurbish and resell your device, we can pass that value back as upgrade credit. If you decide not to upgrade, you get the cash offer instead — no pressure.
It works both ways. If the device is worse than described, Dan will always discuss it openly before anything changes — and you can have it returned for free. If it's in better condition than expected (say it powers on when listed as dead), Dan messages you and offers more. He could pay the original offer. He doesn't.
Ideally yes — locked devices are harder to resell and will affect the offer. Dan will factor this in and discuss it with you. It doesn't mean we won't buy it — just that the offer will be lower if the lock can't be removed. Dan can often guide you through removing it in just a few minutes.
It gives a reliable estimate based on current market data and your device's condition and faults. The final offer is confirmed by Dan personally after a quick conversation on WhatsApp. If the device matches what was described, the estimate stands.
