Refurbished phone warranty

Every phone we sell is tested, honestly graded and covered by a warranty from the day it is delivered:

  • Grade A and Grade B — 12 months
  • Grade C — 6 months
  • Your order confirmation is your proof of warranty — nothing to register

What it covers: functional faults. If the phone stops working as it should — touch, cameras, speakers, charging, connectivity, buttons, Face ID or Touch ID — we repair or replace it. What it doesn’t cover: accidental damage (drops, cracks, bends), liquid damage, and the normal wear of a battery over time. Battery health is checked and stated when we grade the phone; every Grade A phone leaves with 85% or better, Grade B and C with 80% or better.

14-day returns on phones

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, no questions asked, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Message us, we send a prepaid label, and you are refunded once the phone is back and checked. Please return it in the condition it arrived in, with any accessories that came with it. The full wording is in our refund policy.

Repair warranty

Every repair carries a 12-month warranty on the part we fitted and our workmanship. The one exception is the budget LCD screen tier, which is sold as a temporary or data-transfer option and carries 3 months — it is always labelled as such in your quote.

Covered: the replaced part failing, or the work we did not holding — a fitted screen developing touch problems, a new battery losing health early, a replaced port working loose. Not covered: new accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair, or a different fault that was not part of the repair.

A £40 diagnostic is a separate service: it is deducted from any repair you go ahead with, and it is the only charge if the device turns out to be beyond economic repair — the device comes back to you tracked, free of charge.

What “same fault” actually means

Our warranty promise is simple: if the same fault comes back, we fix it at no charge. “Same fault” means the thing we repaired or replaced has failed again — not a new problem on the same phone. Some examples:

  • We replaced your screen and the touch stops responding three months later — covered.
  • We replaced your screen and you drop the phone and crack the new one — not covered (accidental damage), but we will quote the repair fairly.
  • We replaced your battery and it drops well below the expected health within the year — covered.
  • We replaced your battery and later the charging port fails — not covered under that repair’s warranty, because it is a different fault; it is quoted as a new repair.
  • A phone you bought from us develops a fault with the speaker in month eight — covered under the 12-month (Grade A/B) or 6-month (Grade C) warranty.

If you are ever unsure which side of the line something falls on, ask. We tell you straight, before any work is done.

1
Message us

WhatsApp or email with your order number or repair reference and a line about what has happened. A photo or short video helps.

2
We confirm and send a label

If it sounds like a warranty fault we send a prepaid Royal Mail Tracked label the same day. Nothing to pay, nothing to package specially.

3
Inspected and fixed

We inspect the device against the original job, confirm the fault, and repair or replace under warranty. If it turns out not to be covered, we tell you first and quote — you decide.

4
Back next day

Tested and returned with free next-day postage. The original warranty period continues to run; it does not restart.

Nothing is agreed until you are happy

When you sell or trade in, the quote tool gives an estimate and we confirm the offer on WhatsApp before you post anything. After inspection, if the device matches the description, the offer stands. If it is worse than described we discuss it openly before anything changes — and if you decline the revised offer we return your device free of charge. If it is better than described, we pay more.

Common questions

Yes for phones we sold — the warranty follows the device for its remaining term. Keep the order confirmation with the phone.

Battery wear from normal use is not a fault, so gradual decline is not covered. A battery that fails outright, swells or drops sharply within the warranty period is. Either way, message us — a replacement battery is one of our cheapest repairs and we will always quote fairly.

No. We send a prepaid Royal Mail Tracked label for the return, and the repaired or replaced device comes back with free next-day postage.

The same as any repair — usually completed the same day it arrives and back with you the next working day.

For a phone we sold, we replace it with an equivalent device or refund you. For a repair, we refund the repair. You are never left with a broken phone and a bill.

The no-quibble return window is 14 days from delivery. After that the warranty covers faults, not change of mind — but talk to us, we are reasonable people.
