Repair technicians and people who care about doing it properly.
Cell Devices is a small, growing repair and refurbishment workshop in Guildford. We are not hiring on a fixed schedule — but if you repair phones well, or want to learn to, we would like to hear from you. Every message is read by the founder.

iPhone screens, batteries, ports, cameras, back glass and housings, plus iPad, Samsung and Pixel. Experience matters more than certificates; we train on our standard.
The 25-point inspection, honest grading, photographs and listings. Careful, consistent people who notice the small things.
Labels, packing, tracking, and replying to customers on WhatsApp in the plain, honest voice you see on this site.
No experience but you take things apart to see how they work? Say so. The founder started exactly there.
How we work
What the job is really like
Every device is handled by one person from quote to return, so the work is varied and you own the outcome. We fix the phones other shops hand back, which means problems to think about rather than a production line. Standards are high because the warranty is ours: if a repair comes back, we fix it again for free, so it gets done right the first time.
Hours are the workshop’s opening hours (Monday and Thursday to Saturday, Sunday mornings) and roles can start part-time. Pay depends on experience and is agreed in person — we would rather talk than publish a range that is wrong for you.
Email or WhatsApp: who you are, what you have repaired (or taken apart), and why this. A photo of your bench or a phone you fixed says more than a CV.
A call or a visit to the workshop in Guildford. No formal interview.
A day or two on real jobs alongside the founder, paid, so both sides know it fits.
FAQ
Common questions
No. Manufacturer certification helps but is not required — we train to our own standard, which is stricter than most certificates anyway.
Not necessarily. Part-time and flexible hours are possible; the workshop is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
