Selling a damaged iPhone 12
Most online buyers pay pennies for a damaged phone or reject it. Because we repair iPhones in house, we know what a broken iPhone 12 is worth after repair, and we price it that way. Cracked screens, dead batteries, water damage, phones that won’t turn on, multiple faults: all accepted. Tell us the faults honestly in the quote tool and the estimate accounts for them; if the phone turns out better than described when it arrives, we pay more.
Pick your iPhone 12 model, storage and condition in the quote tool. Takes about two minutes, no obligation.
We email you a personal link to your buying form, check your answers and confirm the offer there. Nothing is agreed until you are happy.
A prepaid Royal Mail label is sent to you: Tracked 24 for phones worth under £150, or Special Delivery, insured up to £750, for £150 or more. Back up, remove your SIM, sign out of iCloud, and scan the label at any Post Office.
We check it against what you told us and pay by bank transfer within 24 hours, usually sooner. If anything differs we talk to you first, and if you decline we post it back free, unless it isn't as described (it won't unlock, it's locked or blocked, or it has a fault you didn't mention), when return postage is a flat £15.
FAQ
Common questions
Three things, and every one of them is about the phone’s status rather than its condition. We cannot buy a phone that is reported lost or stolen; one with finance or a contract still outstanding on it; or one that is not legally yours to sell. If it is your own phone but a network or an insurer has blocked it, or it is still locked to an iCloud or Google account you cannot remove, we may still buy it for parts. Everything else is fair game, cracked, water damaged, dead, or in pieces.
Yes, sign out of iCloud (Settings → your name → Sign Out) so Activation Lock is off. A locked phone is much harder to resell and lowers the offer; if you are stuck, we can talk you through it in a couple of minutes.
Back up to iCloud or a computer, sign out of iCloud, then Erase All Content and Settings. Remove your SIM. If you forget, tell us and we wipe it on arrival, nothing is ever resold with data on it.
Bank transfer, usually sent within 24 hours of your phone arriving and being checked. It is usually in your account within hours.
It happens only if the phone differs from the description, and then we discuss it openly before anything changes. Decline and the phone comes straight back to you, and if there is ever a cost to that return, we tell you exactly what it is before you decide. If it is better than described, we offer more.
Yes. Its value comes straight off a refurbished phone from our own stock. The quote tool shows both figures side by side so you can choose.
