All screen and battery replacements — including genuine Apple parts — show an 'Unknown Part' notification in Settings. This is a hardware restriction Apple introduced and cannot be removed. It doesn't affect performance.

Genuine Apple parts are calibrated after fitting — no warnings in Settings, full True Tone compatibility.

Third-party parts show 'Unknown Part' — only genuine Apple parts can be calibrated to remove this. Priced accordingly.

iPhone screen repair starts from £65 for older models, up to £189–£379 for iPhone 16 Pro Max depending on whether you choose a third-party OLED or genuine Apple screen. Use the quote tool for your exact model. All repairs include a 12-month warranty.
